1. Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Robin and when asked I say I'm from Colorado, which is where I live now. Being a Military Brat and a Military Spouse, I have spent much of my time...well everywhere.
2. Why do you do what you do?
I'm in sort of a transitional stage; my husband retired a couple of years ago, so I'm not longer a military spouse, my two sons graduated High School, so I'm not longer a homeschool mom, and I have just recently picked the camera back up...and on some days I'm reluctant to call myself a photographer.
3. When did you start your craft?
I picked the camera up just a few years ago, with the digital camera it made taking pictures so easy. I've spent the time learning and improving my techniques. Two years ago I started taking senior portraits.
4. Which is worse? Being in a place that is too loud or too quiet?
Ah, easy "too loud"...I'm all about peace, harmony, and quiet. Hince, I love to get out, walk and shoot photos of landscapes.
5. What is your favorite item in your shop.
About a month ago, I had a computer crash and lost about 2 years worth of photography....So, my answer a month ago would be totally different than today. My favorite photograph is my shop is "Mountain Shine". It was one of those quiet early mornings and I was out walking and the sun just started to reflect off this mountain side.
6. What do you think of the phrase "Handmade Revolution"?
I like it!!!!!....the idea of "You've Come Along Way Baby", doesn't always bring happiness and contentment. In some cases, artists are creating things for fun that my great grandmother had to make just to survive. In the Handmade Revolution we get to create something from start to finish and watch other purchase and then enjoy our passions.
7. Where can we find you on the Internet?
Oh Gosh, I'm everywhere :)
