Seafoam...

This is one gorgeous blog. Here is what Carlotta says: "I love so much this color, it's fresh, it's pure, it's summer, it's clean, it makes me feel relaxed and happy; it's a mix of green, nature earth hope (in Italy green is the color of hope!) , white the color of pureness soul clouds, and blue the color of water sky and calm. Seafoam it's the perfect mix of all those things and the perfect color to wear in summer , it's great on every skin tone and instantly gives a fresh touch to outfits, home, makeup, everything!! Since I adore so much this color I've made lots of researches on Etsy about it and I've found not only one treasure but tons of gorgeous things to buy and share with you. Here some of my favourite shops and finds, of course this is a small selection so click click click on every single shop and enjoy their amazing wonderful handmade treasures."

Thank you so much, Carlotta. I love the photos of the ocean that you found on Flickr.

Alamo City Etsy: Street Team

"What the heck?", you think, "Did that crazy girl join roller derby?" No. If you have ever seen me on wheels, you know to back up and run. (Trivia: I once broke my elbow Irish Dancing).

A street team is just a bunch of artisans with a common interest: geography, skills, craft, etc. The Alamo City Etsy team is San Antonio's Etsy Street Team.

I'm pretty impressed so far. Basically I'm in awe of people who head up committees and get things done. Since the inception of the Alamo Team in March of this year there have been several meetings, a bake sale, and coming up the 23rd of this month is the "Haute Pink Bazaar and Silent Auction to benefit The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation on June 23, 7pm". I am donating three items for the silent auction, and will also be a vendor with a bunch of other Etsians.

Thank you ShavingKitSuppplies!

Another very cool Front Page on Etsy! My Chinese Variscite earrings were featured in one of her very creative and eclectic treasuries. Her store is incredible...be sure to click on her name to check it out.

Front Page for the Bad Cat!

Again, I am thrilled to have graced the Front Page of Etsy. I consider myself very lucky indeed. The piece featured is my Starfish bracelet. SharonClancyDesigns, is the wonderful curator, and talented artisan who helped myself and eleven others get there. Be sure to check out her shop, as her jewelry is gorgeous.

Kritters that Twitter

There is a subculture on Twitter where pet people tweet about their day from their pets' point of view. Facebook has DogBook and CatBook, Twitter has Critters. One fun blog is called http://www.krittersthattwitter.com/. The human in charge, Lisa, has developed Outdoor Pet Enclosures. Cool idea! I was thrilled when asked to do an interview with one of her resident felines, Madi. The interview is here.
